A.L.D. Painting, LLC is the result of three generations of hard work and dedication. In the late 1980s, a young man, Al Dupuy, asked a simple question that changed everything. Fueled by a desire to better provide for his wife and small boys, he turned to his boss and asked, “How do I start my own business?” The reply pushed Al and his wife to spend the next few months working harder than they ever had, scraping up and saving everywhere they could. It didn’t take long for Al to have exactly what he needed to get it all going. That same perseverance and fortitude carried the small business forward, and in no time at all, people in the industry began to take note. Relationships were forged, and partnerships grew. In 1996, A.L.D. Inc. was incorporated and officially took its place in the Arizona market. A.L.D. was off to a great start, but the road was about to get bumpy. In the early 2000s, Al became seriously ill and faced the harsh possibility that he wouldn’t be able to keep the company going. It was in that moment that Al’s sons stepped in. Without hesitation, Andy and Aaron both left their established careers behind to keep the family business alive.
